It really made you think and I like the idea. It’s a great and very thought provoking satire, really egapia some of the gender inequalities that still exist on so many levels in society. The planet is called Egalia. The new words can be a little hard at first but anyone with a passing familiarity of feminist literature should recognize the situation and setting almost immediately.

A humorous and altogether thought-provoking read for the modern feminist. The book is not just an interesting – sometimes absolutely hilarious, sometimes tragic – role reversal, but is also a commentary on the supposed neutrality of language.

No trivia or quizzes yet. The last chapter where there are “excerpts” of Petronius’s book is illuminating, and I would say vital reading for those who have disliked the book until that point.
