Minor leauge was a hard time for him though and it made him grow up and mature as a ball player. He reminds me of Mike Tyson, just a guy who everybody loves to hate, who is misunderstood, and who is just very honest with everyone.
I used to not like any player who had ever done steroids, but after reading this book I got a new respect for Jose. It’s only a matter of time before an entire race of people are raised on steroids, and who knows what they’ll be able to accomplish? I feel like he was targeted by the MLB in a way that other athletes would never be targeted just because he was Cuban and I think that gives you a feel for what society was like back then.

Many think that writing this book was a tacky move, especially since he outed cansevo many fellow steroid users, but he definitely had his motives. He lived with his Mom, Dad, and twin Ozzie. Juiced by Jose Conseco is one of the best books I have ever read. I would recommend this book to boys mostly because I really think you guys will like this book because it’s totally awesome. Still the most amusing famous person on twitter except maybe Kanye West. Anyone who didn’t realize that McGwire was roiding during the home run derby was blind, willfully or not.
Other than that, the book is surprisingly well-written by “athlete-writes-a-book” standards I’m sure he had help, but still and very easy to read. I know a lot of people would pay to see thatthat he’s gotten less racist as he’s aged. While Jose was a steroid user, Jose shows the benefits of steroid use and that he is just a normal guy like anyone else.
