The structure it seems appropriate to begin with the structure is to examine proto-semiotics followed by early and unsophisticated semiotics i. Overall, this introduction did what I thought it would — I do have a better grip on the term and on the history of semiotics as a field. After the 20th or so person showed up in a page book, they kind of started to blur together.

Semiofics to reading this book, I thought I had a cursory, at bestknowledge of semiotics. It fails to do two things, however. However, I realized that semiotics intersects and overlaps with the works of many philosophers, which was unexpected by me.
