For the most part I liked Alison, I was interested by her abilities and I do love the fact that the women in this series seem to be just as strong as, if not stronger than, the men. I am giving up and just don’t feel the need to continue on and find out what hap I’m DNFing this one half way through.
What can I say? It’s been a while since I’ve found a new author to love, so I can’t seem to ascensikn smiling Never relief, just a slight unwinding. But Abigail is no ordinary woman. I like Caris’ multidimensal earth and vampires ascending from mortal earth to second earth. I haven’t read anything else by her, but you can tell she’s an experienced writer when reading her plot. I think the series has a lot of potential. Fans of JR Ward will either love this or hate this, depending on whether they’re looking for another series with a group of male characters, strong warriors, who are each obvious sequel bait.
