Twenty years later, these guys and their post-adolescent limbo just seem tediously familiar. Biggs has made a specialty of this sort of nervous overgrown kid and introduces him again; the always marvelous Scanavino is a properly hyperkinetic Don; and Coiro’s Jack is an indelible portrait of a thoroughly unlikable cad.
Scanavino is eager-to-please stoner Don, who falls in love and seems to want to become an emotional adult, even if he has trouble fully convincing himself.
